Corporate governance

The Board is committed to the highest standards of corporate governance,  to working with management with transparency and integrity, and to supporting delivery of Kingfisher’s strategy for the benefit of the Company, our shareholders, and wider society.

The Company is governed through a structured framework comprising of the Board of Directors, the Board's Audit , Nomination, Remuneration and Responsible Business committees, and the Group Executive. These enable the Company and its Directors to effectively discharge their duties. We also have a Board Diversity and Inclusion Policy in place to assist the Board, through the work of the Nomination Committee, in creating and maintaining optimum Board and Committee composition. 

From 1 February 2019, Kingfisher has been subject to the UK Corporate Governance Code (the 'Code'), published by the Financial Reporting Council in July 2018 (available from
