Thierry Garnier
Chief Executive Officer
Skills and experience:
Thierry is an experienced retailer having spent 20 years in senior roles at Carrefour, the French multi-national retailer. In his previous role, Thierry was a member of the Carrefour group executive committee and the chief executive officer (CEO) of Carrefour Asia. From 2003 to 2008, Thierry was the managing director of Supermarkets for Carrefour France. Following this successful period, he became CEO of Carrefour International and a member of the group executive committee in 2008, with a broader remit including Asia, Latin America and various European countries.

Graham Bell
CEO B&Q UK and Ireland
Experience and expertise:
Graham has spent over 20 years at Kingfisher, during which time he has held several senior roles across the business. As CEO of Screwfix, he oversaw the significant expansion of its store network across the UK. Prior to that, Graham led Screwfix’s operations and property for 10 years as Property Director. His previous roles at B&Q include Property Director and HR Director.

Bernard Bot
Chief Financial Officer
Skills and experience:
Bernard is a seasoned chief financial officer (CFO) having held the role at several international listed companies. Bernard also has significant experience of large-scale transformation programmes, logistics and supply chain management, and technology and digital services. He was CFO at Travelport Worldwide, a global NYSE-listed company providing a technology platform for the travel industry, until it was taken private in June 2019. Prior to that, Bernard was CFO of Aer Lingus and held various senior positions at TNT and TNT Express. Previously, he worked at McKinsey & Company where he rose to become a partner and leader of its worldwide Post and Logistics group.

Sebastien Krysiak
CEO Poland
Expertise and Experience:
Sebastien started off his career with Castorama France, before transferring to help start up Castorama in Poland in 1995 including various roles in buying. He was appointed commercial director in 2000. In 2009, he left Castorama Poland to join B&Q as director of trading Decoration. He joined Maxeda DIY in Netherlands in 2012 as COO Belgium also in charge of format strategy. Sebastien has been leading Castorama Poland since 2015, maintaining and strengthening the company’s leadership position while transforming the business. Starting from September 2018, he took also responsibility for the business activity of all other markets - Russia, Iberia and Romania.

Martin Lee
Chief Supply Chain Officer
Expertise and Experience:
Martin has a wealth of experience across home improvement. His 25 years of experience in the sector include supply chain roles at Kingfisher between 2003-7 before various positions at other home improvement companies, including Maxeda DIY Group and KKR, where his responsibilities spanned international supply chain, merchandising, IT and sourcing. Upon his return to Kingfisher in 2015, Martin led the supply chain at Screwfix and then B&Q.

John Mewett
CEO Screwfix
Experience and Expertise:
John is an experienced retailer who has been instrumental in Screwfix’s growth, having joined 11
years ago as marketing and ecommerce director. John has also served as Group Digital Director at Kingfisher, helping to implement Screwfix’s technology expertise across the business and retail brands, before returning to Screwfix as CEO in October 2018. Prior to his time at Kingfisher, John worked for Dixons Carphone across various roles, including operations, commercial and marketing, for more than 20 years.

Alain Rabec
CEO France
Expertise and Experience:
Alain is a highly experienced operational retailer who has spent over thirty years in senior roles at Carrefour, the French retail group. There, he successfully led the commercial and operational transformation of Carrefour’s supermarket business, including re-organisation and restructuring, a revamp of the product offer and the introduction of a new loyalty scheme. Most recently, he was Executive Director, Carrefour Hypermarkets, and responsible for 230 stores.

Kate Seljeflot
Chief People Officer
Expertise and Experience:
Kate is an experienced professional with a breadth of retail and transformation skills, built on an international career in human resources. Kate joined Kingfisher from Costa Coffee, the coffeehouse chain owned by Coca-Cola, where she was Chief People Officer. Kate led Costa’s global people strategy, with a focus on building the right organisation and capabilities to drive change and support the business’ growth plans. Before this she also held senior HR roles at Diageo and Shell.

Adela Smeu
CEO Romania
Expertise and Experience:
Adela is highly experienced in home improvement retailing. She joined Kingfisher in 2015 as Finance Director for Brico Dépôt Romania and was appointed as CEO of Romania in 2017. Prior to joining Kingfisher, Adela spent eight years at Obi, the international home improvement retailer, in Romania, where she was Director of Finance and Administration. She previously spent four years in finance roles at United Technologies in France and six years at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Romania.

Henri Solère
Chief Offer and Sourcing Officer
Experience and Expertise:
Henri has been at Kingfisher for 12 years, during which he has held several senior leadership positions across the business, starting as Commercial Director for Castorama. More recently, within Kingfisher, he played a key role in establishing the Offer and Supply Chain division, developing a successful offer on Bathroom and Storage, with great products that demonstrated the sales potential of unique design and affordable prices. In his current role as Chief Offer and Sourcing Officer, Henri is leading the offer strategy, with a strong focus on own and exclusive brands reaching customer expectations and providing strong differentiation for Kingfisher.

Jean-Jacques Van Oosten
Chief Customer and Digital Officer
Expertise and Experience:
JJ has substantial expertise in leading technology, data, digital services and ecosystems, in the retail and home improvement sectors. He joined Kingfisher from Danish toy company, The LEGO Group, where as Chief Digital Officer, he led the company’s digital ambition to make ecommerce the largest part of the business. Prior to this, JJ held a range of leadership roles at companies including Tesco, Travis Perkins and REWE. JJ also previously worked at Kingfisher as Group IT Director from 2005-08.

John Wartig
Chief Transformation and Development Officer
Expertise and Experience:
John has wide-ranging experience covering both financial and consumer-facing businesses across a range of geographies, having worked extensively across the UK, USA, Australia and Middle East. Most recently, he was Chief Financial Officer at Fitness First Group, where he successfully managed a large property portfolio. Prior to that, he held senior finance roles at major global brands including CocaCola, and Cadbury Schweppes. He also previously served as Kingfisher’s interim CFO.
