At Kingfisher’s 2019 Innovation Day, we shared how the vision for Kingfisher is becoming a reality. At the heart of our approach are our customers; people all wanting to create a home they can feel good about. For many people home improvement is complex, challenging and costly – and so addressing this is our driving purpose.
The huge organisational and behavioural change that we have achieved over the last three years has set us up to think, plan and act as ONE. This in turn is facilitating a simpler and higher quality offer as well as the evolution in how we address changing customer behaviours.
The Innovation Day focused on innovation and the customer. Investors and analysts had the opportunity to hear from Kingfisher colleagues, including product designers and category experts, about how the engine we have built is enabling the development of innovative new products and services to help the home improver and the professional simplify and realise their home improvement missions and projects. All at everyday low prices.
Also, on display was our new convenience format, as well as a new approach to helping customers realise their entire project in one place, offering both inspiration and advice, together with the continuous improvement of our best-in-class Screwfix proposition.
