Kingfisher was one of the top ten performing companies in the CSR Online Awards ‘Global Leaders’ ranking 2010. The awards assess how the world’s most sustainable companies are communicating corporate social responsibility (CSR) online. Kingfisher was rated 7th overall and was the highest scoring company in the UK.
The annual study of online CSR communications is conducted by the communications consultancy Lundquist. The ‘Global Leaders’ ranking examines 91 members of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. Each website was assessed using a set of 77 evaluation criteria which covered three areas – ‘content’, 'user experience' and 'ongoing engagement'. The criteria were based on a global survey of more than 250 CSR professionals and sector experts.
