The first Castorama store opened in Samara, Russia in 2006. Since then new stores in cities such as Moscow and St Petersburg have also been opened. Castorama Russia is tapping into a home improvement market that has grown quickly along with the disposable income of Russia’s middle class. The larger stores stock around 35,000 products for the home and garden.
