Eco shops

Since March 2010, B&Q UK has been launching eco shops within its stores, enabling homeowners to acquire everything they need all in one place to live a more sustainable home life whilst saving money. B&Q’s first eco shops were opened at its stores in New Malden and Sutton, providing information and products on energy and water, as well as services including boiler, solid wall and solar thermal water heating installations.

B&Q is also introducing eco advisers with special NVQ qualifications to advise customers about simple, low cost solutions that help reduce their home's environmental impact and running costs. There are now over 4,000 One Planet Home® accredited products.
