On Saturday 9 April 2011 Castorama Russia opened its third store in Moscow in the Capitoliy shopping mall, this is the first small format store in Russia with a selling space of just 6300 square metres.
Castorama Capitoliy is in a prime location on the MKAD motorway, on the way to Sheremetievo Airport which means it's ideally placed to attract a lot of customers from Moscow.
The new store offers a wide range of decorative products, as well as bathrooms, kitchens, ceramic tiles, flooring and products for the garden. Being smaller, the store has a softer feel to it but still encompasses all the usual services you'd expect to find in a Castorama Russia store such as paint mixing, made to measure curtains, home delivery and finance.
