Meltem Kökenek Regional Manager, Koçtaş
“I am very happy and proud of working for Kingfisher and Koçtaş”
Meltem Kökenek joined the Koçtaş Team as a “Customer Adviser” in 1996 at the Bornova Store. She held this position for three years in different stores in different cities. In 1999 Meltem became a store manager at the Bodrum Store. She was the first female Store Manager at Koçtaş. After the 50-50 joint venture agreement with Kingfisher Group, Meltem was appointed Operational Manager at the Kartal Store, and after two years in this position, became Store Manager there in 2003.
After a very successful tenure in this position from 2003 to 2008, Meltem became Regional Manager – the first female Regional Manager at Koçtaş – and still holds this position.
