Tanguy Dewavrin CEO, Castorama Poland
Tanguy has spent his whole career at Castorama France, where he joined in 1993 as a store Sales Adviser and then Department Manager. He was appointed to the position of CEO, Castorama Poland in June 2012.
With his enthusiasm for business, customers and people, Tanguy assumed responsibility for his first store in early 2000, with the opening of the Dunkirk store, followed by the Hénin Beaumont store in 2003, where he launched the revamp programme across all Castorama stores. Appointed Regional Director for the Paris region in 2004, he was then appointed Human Resources Director for Castorama France in late 2007.
Among his numerous achievements and successes, Tanguy has managed to develop a culture which positions the employee as a key driver in the business. He has done this by using internal communications platforms and training programmes, as well as the Gallup engagement survey and the development of remuneration programmes.
