An engaged workforce means great customer service in our stores, so we take employee engagement very seriously.

The One Team Engagement survey run by Gallup (formerly the Q12 survey) is Kingfisher's established tool for measuring employee engagement across the Group. In 2012/13 the Group achieved a GrandMean engagement score of 4.1 out of 5. Participation rates across the Group are high which is very encouraging for an employee population of this size.

B&Q UK & Ireland

In preparation for the launch of B&Q's new-look stores, which opened in Poole, Banbury and Bognor Regis in early 2013, a week-long series of events, talks and interactive sessions was held in the Store Support Office in Southampton.

KSO

KSO (Kingfisher Sourcing and Offer) has established a regular programme of video conference calls to connect the whole KSO family. With offices across the world it is a simple way to keep everybody engaged and up to date on new developments as we develop our sourcing processes under the Creating the Leader strategy.

Brico Dépôt Spain

Brico Dépôt Spain has been named one of the country's best places to work in the "Best Workplaces 2012" list, compiled by Great Place To Work® España. The company is ranked as the fifth best workplace in the category for businesses employing more than 1,000 people. It is the third time that Brico Dépôt Spain has made it onto the list of the top 50 Spanish companies to work for since 2008.
